If you are interested in becoming a member of Abbeyleix Tennis Club, you have come to the right place! We welcome players of all ages and abilities.
We have 3 social nights weekly:
Mon from 7.30pm - Experienced adults
Wed from 7.30pm - Beginner/Improver adults
Fri from 7.30pm - 9:30pm - Teenagers

For children of primary school age, we have our afterschools Ignite Tennis Programme on Tuesdays for members. For more information see our Facebook page and download the "Ignite Tennis Club" app.
EXISTING MEMBERS: once you have renewed your membership, please email your fob number to info@abbeyleixtennis.com
NEW MEMBERS: Please text the club phone on +353866684049 and call down on one of the above social nigths to collect your acccess fob.
Notes:
- With effect from 1st March 2026.
- Annual membership duration applies for a rolling 12-month period from the date of payment for first-time members, or from the membership expiry date for existing members.
- Access fob(s) included on payment of first membership, unless otherwise stated.
- Lost or stolen fobs must be notified without undue delay to an ATC Committee member. Replacement fobs available to purchase at cost of €10 each.
Memberships
Adult
12 months membership
Adult Membership including Tennis Ireland Affiliation fee
Eligibility: Adult, 25-64 years
Adult 65+
12 months membership
Over 65 Membership including Tennis Ireland Affiliation fee
Eligibility: Proof of Age may be required e.g. copy of drivers licence or passport
Country
12 months membership
Country membership including Tennis Ireland Affiliation fee
Eligibility: Residing 30km or more from Abbeyleix and Primary Membership of another Tennis Ireland affiliated club. Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc.) and membership (Tennis Ireland membership no.) is required.
Couple
12 months membership
Couple Membership including Tennis Ireland Affiliation fee. 1 fob issued
Eligibility: Married or cohabiting couple. Both names of members should be added.
Family Membership
12 months membership
Family Membership including Tennis Ireland Affiliation fee
Eligibility: Parents and children (up to completion of secondary school). Proof education status may be required (letter from education provider, student ID etc.).
Junior (Secondary School)
12 months membership
Junior (of Secondary School age)
Eligibility: Any student attending secondary school. Proof education status may be required (letter from education provider, student ID etc.).
Juvenile (After-School ‘Kids Coaching’)
12 months membership
Children in primary school attending after-school 'Kids Coaching' (see coaching section)
Eligibility: Proof of education status may be required (letter from education provider etc.). No fob included in membership rate - available to purchase at a cost of €10 to facilitate grounds access.
Young Adult
12 months membership
Young adult who has completed secondary school education, and up to 24 years
Eligibility: Proof of age is required (passport, driving licence etc.).
