Over 150 members are part of a growing club that goes from strength to strength each year. 60 percent of the members hail from Abbeyleix but a vital core travel in from surrounding areas. The club welcomes all regardless of where they're from, which leads to the wonderful camaraderie between members which is evident from the moment you enter the club. Since Portlaoise tennis club disbanded in the early 90's, Abbeyleix has taken in the over-spill with each new member quickly becoming an important addition to the club.

Membership is due on 1st April 2011

The following are the membership rates for 2011:

• Family €255
• Husband & Wife €230
• Adult €165
• Students (Third level) €50
• Junior & Juveniles €40

There is also a joining levy of €95 per family membership, €70 per husband & Wife, & €35 per adult.

For non members & Visitors the following rates apply:

• Visitor Daily €5
• Visitor weekly €20
