Welcome to Abbeyleix Junior Section

Junior tennis continues throughout the year on Friday nights and we are anxious to get more teenagers playing tennis. One initiative this year is to get the junior members to elect their own committee and be active in organizing their own events. Events like the very successful de Vesci salver competition and The Castle Durrow Shield  held in September & october last year, just shows what can be done, and we would like to have more events like this. We also plan to compete in the Laois League & the Leinster Interprovincial Towns Leagues I would request parents to assist by encouraging your teens to come along on Friday nights. The Junior AGM has set for Friday 15th May at 9.00pm in Clubhouse. We plan to have a coaching section each Friday night to help Junior players with their game.
