Our Club's 100 years project.

The Centenary Committee are actively collecting items of historic interest with a view to putting together a book on the clubs 100 years. Old photos, press clippings etc would be appreciated, and just as important are recollections &  memories of times past. The committee would like to meet with you if you have anything of interest to share. We are also trying to retrieve any minute books (pre 1992, & 2002 & 2003) or newsletters from the past pre 1995. Please contact Garry @087/6420941 or Irene @ 087/8380053.

Go for life – Grant allocation.

We have received a grant from Go for life - The National Programme for Sport & Physical Activity for Older People, towards running a tennis programme for over 50’s in March/April 2009.This scheme aims to assist in the implementation of locally developed, well planned initiatives designed to increase participation in recreational sport and physical activity for over 50’s. We will be setting out a programme to attract current members, former members and those whose have never played tennis, over the next month or so. We would appreciate any suggestions on how to make this as beneficial as possible to all involved
