Welcome to Abbeyleix Tennis Club

Summer Tennis Camp

This year's Summer Tennis Camp will run from Monday 6th to Friday 10th
July. This camp is suitable for all standards from 5-13 years old. The
camp will run a morning and afternoon session each for 3 hours
duration.

The camp will involve coaching based on the level and age of the
players. The ITF Play and Stay programme will be used throughout the
camp. This means that the game will be adapted to suit the child
making it an easier game to learn and enjoy.

For the 5-8 year olds there will be plenty of fun games to help
improve general co-ordination and balance as well as basic technique
for forehand/backhand/serve. The 9-13 year olds will receive technical
as well as tactical coaching with players helped to improve their game
or to learn the basic techniques if coming as a beginner.

Other activities will be run throughout the camp with plenty of prizes
to be won. For more details call Bryan: 086-3821614 and see application form attached below.
